2012 AJLL Spring Board of Directors

The Apache Junction Little League Board is made up entirely of volunteers, giving their time and energy to help with succesful  little league seasons.  The League is always looking to expand the board not only to lighten someone else's load but to be a role model for our children and bring in fresh new ideas.  Volunteering in our community is extremely rewarding and might not be as time consuming as you think.  There are many ways to volunteer your time with AJLL.

Duties

Represents League at district meetings, In charge of overall league operations.



Presides in absence of President, Assist in overall league operations.



Responsible of League finances, Disburse funds as approved by board, Report on status of League funds monthly. 

Make agenda for board meetings, Record minutes of board meetings, Maintain official registration documents.

Coordinates all safety activities, Produce and maintain safety manuals, Ensure safe playing conditions.

Maintain league equipment, Order uniforms and equipment as approved by board

First point of contact for baseball or softball; Manager, coach, player or parent issues.



Represents Coaches/Managers at league meetings, Distributes materials to players, coaches and managers.





Schedule Volunteers for hours of operations of concession booths during league events. Order supplies to stock  concessions as approved by board.

Work with scheduling umpires for all games, Handle all umpire issues.

Solicit and secure local sponsorship to support league operations(Team and Sign sponsorship), Organize approved league fundraising.

Maintain and update leagues website, Contact for local media to post and distribute important information of league activities

Votes for approval on league issues, policies and purchases at board meetings,
